On Saturday, May 9th the courthouse becomes a birdhouse as we celebrate moms and migratory birds as May 9th is World Migratory Bird Day.

Birds have been an important part of people’s lives on the Peninsula for thousands of years, from the décor of Victorian homes to the oral traditions of Ramaytush Ohlone. Either before or after the Almost Mother’s Day Concert in the Square, join us celebrating birds at this free day at the History Museum to enjoy making bird themed crafts to gift to your mom, and a “Birding in the Museum” scavenger hunt.
