College of San Mateo: The Photographs of Isago Isao Tanaka (August 23, 2022 – January 22, 2023) in the Lower Rotunda features eight photographs celebrating the 100th anniversary of the College of San Mateo. In 1964, the College hired Tanaka as its photographer as it opened its new College Heights campus. The photographs shown reflect the themes of campus vision, student activism, student life and influential instructors.

The College has preserved Tanaka’s images in the San Mateo Community College District Historical Photograph Collection.
