Reflections of the Great Migration: A Journey Through Art
Reflections of the Great Migration: A Journey Through Art (May 15, 2025 – July 20, 2025) is a Juneteenth exhibit in the Lower Rotunda and Hallway. Through photographs, textile and abstract works, the exhibit explores the enduring legacy of one of the most significant movements in American history – the Great Migration. Between 1916 and 1970, more than six million African Americans left the rural South in search of opportunity safety and dignity.
