Pacifica Walking Tour

The Little Brown Church is home to the Pacifica Coastside Museum

Pacifica, a visitor-serving destination on the Peninsula since Portolá visited in 1769 which led to the European discovery of San Francisco Bay. See an original house built by the Ocean Shore Railroad as an example of summer resorts intended to expand recreation and business on the San Mateo County Coast. View an original building that provided respite for working girls from San Francisco. Hear the history of Sam’s Castle constructed as a haven after the San Francisco Earthquake of 1906. End the tour with a view that was enjoyed by the original inhabitants of Pacifica, the Ramaytush Ohlone tribe.

Difficulty Level: Easy. Flat elevation, mainly sidewalks.
