Annual Day of the Dead Celebration

The San Mateo County History Museum and Casa Círculo Cultural present the 13th annual Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration inside the Museum and outside on Courthouse Square. This FREE event takes place inside the Museum from 4 to 8 p.m. Visitors are invited to make their own thematic crafts, including clay calaveras (skulls), paper flowers and more. A community altar exhibition will be displayed in the History Museum’s beautifully restored Courtroom A. Activities outside on Courthouse Square are organized by Casa Círculo Cultural.
